In the historic city of Lijiang in Yunnan province, there is an inn just inside the old town section called the Zen Garden Hotel. Located just 200 meters from Sifang Street, it is close enough to reach the historic section easily, yet far enough so that the noise of the town will not disturb you.
The hotel provides guests:
A. Live traditional Naxi and Chinese music on Monday and Thursday mornings.
B. By arrangement, a demonstration of Chinese painting and drawing, in the teahouse, by the owner’s brother.
C. We can arrange tours and excursions to all the popular sites, such as: Tiger Leaping Gorge, Shangri la, Yulong Mountain, Lugu lake, etc. All tours and excursions, whether you like exciting adventures or casual trips, provide an unforgettable experience.
D. We can arrange for you to sample, first hand, Naxi culture, through visits to local villages, ceremonies and concerts. If you wish, we can also arrange for you to observe and participate in Chinese tea ceremonies.

The Zen Garden Hotel Lijiang offers 16 rooms including 14 standard rooms and 2 deluxe rooms. Furniture in the teahouse and guest rooms is from the Ming or Qing styles. In the courtyard and upstairs rooms, one can see the whole city. The view at night is fantastic.

The location was great, people are super nice, absolutely loved the ambience. Didn't use the business facilities and can't comment, and there was no restaurant facilities onsite so can't comment either. |

Quiet place if you compare it with central Li Jiang.
Very helpfull, warm hearted and friendly staff.
I loved the breakfast. Simple, tasty and well cared.
