The main building of the hotel rises 18 floors and has various rooms including beautiful leisure suites, business suites and 285 standard rooms, all of which include central air-conditioning, IDD and DDD service, satellite broadcasting televisions, audio, VOD television request program system, Internet systems, and a business floor.

The restaurant offers seafood, a Western-style food hall and a lobby bar providing Sichuan, Cantonese and Tibetan cuisine.

The hotel have 6 meetings halls in total, including Himalayan Hall, Tanggula Hall, Red Mountain Hall, Yaamdrok Conference Hall, Manasarovar Conference Hall and Namtso Conference Hall.
Himalayan Hall:
It is located on the17th floor; the area is 264 square meters which can accommodate 200 attendees; layout styles: Theater, Desk type, etc; the conference equipments have white board, pencil and paper, microphone, projector, simultaneous interpretation system(Charge), etc.
Tanggula Hall:
It is located on the 17th floor; the area is 126 square meters which can accommodate 70 attendees; layout styles: Desk type , etc; the conference equipments have white board, pencil and paper, microphone, projector, etc.
Red Mountain Hall(Meeting hall):
It is located on the 17th floor; the area is 70 square meters which can accommodate 8 attendees.
Yaamdrok Conference Hall:
It is located on the second floor; the area is 38 square meters which can accommodate 16 attendees; layout styles: Ellipse type, etc; the conference equipments have white board, pencil and paper, projector, etc.
Manasarovar Conference Hall:
It is located on the second floor; the area is 38 square meters which can accommodate 16 attendees; layout styles: Ellipse type, etc. the conference equipments have white board, pencil and paper, projector, etc.
Namtso Conference Hall:
It is located on the second floor; the area is 38 square meters which can accommodate 16 attendees; layout styles: Ellipse type, etc; the conference equipments have white board, pencil and paper, projector, etc.

Nice Tibetan-themed presentation throughout the hotel. Rooms very well done and exceedingly comfortable. Excellent 5-star value for money. Two-for-one dinner buffet in the hotel's restaurant was an excellent deal with varied and tasty options.
Hotel's only drawback is its location: even though you can get to the center of town in about 10-15 minutes by taxi, Tibet Hotel is too far off the beaten path if you want to get out and do some easy exploring. The neighborhood doesn't have much to offer, unfortunately. |

I stayed only 1 night and I appreciate this hotel, but it is very short to give a quotation on leisure and ambience !
Next time I will go to Chengdu, I will stay at the TIBET Hotel. Very nice hotel. |

The Tibet Hotel was very nice and a great value for the money. My children loved the bowling alley. I can't comment on the breakfast since we left too early in the morning to try it. The coffee shop was fine though the food is cooked to order so the wait was 35 minutes...somewhat long for kids. The rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. Internet was fine, too. |
