I was quite disappointed with the Empire Hong Kong. My room was cramped, dark and extremely run down. Friends from HK state that the hotel has been overdue for renovation since 2001 (despite dishonest room pictures on website and on promotional literature. Staff spoke poor English. Business center not generally open - only on demand and with great staff confusion at request to print an email and send a fax. At lobby wine bar, request for white wine was met with red wine. I left hotel to find an more acceptable (and cleaner) hotel. |
