Since opening on February 6, 1983, the Guangzhou White Swan Hotel is most known for its elegant design and high quality service. The White Swan Hotel has received over 40 heads of state and government including the British Queen Elizabeth II, President Bush of the United States, and Chancellor Kohl of Germany.
The hotel was accepted as a member of "The Leading Hotels of the World" on July 1,1985 and appointed 5-stars by the Chinese Government in February 1990.
The White Swan Hotel topped "China's 50 best hotels" in 1996.

Rooms, staff and location are great but the charges for other things are way out of line (eg: 50Y per hour for internet! Also, for a 5 star hotel, they should invest in more comfortable beds. These are hard even by Chinese standards. |
