We were supposed to stay 4 nights in this hotel, but we left after one night: despite the friendly staff and the excellent location, the "suite" was so dirty and shabby that we couldn't imagine to spend more than one night in such a place. You can't put a barefoot on the carpet!
You can find very easily cleaner and cheaper accommodation in a guesthouse in the same area! |

Great, central location ... other than that it is hard to recommend. I was not expecting much as it is a 2 star hotel in rural China ... that being said the "renovated room" had poor (i.e practically non-existent) heating and the worst beds I have come across in along time. Add to that the fact that no English is spoken and sparse use of the generator during power outages ... and it seems to me there is no real advantage to staying at the Jinhua over one of the better guesthouses in Dali. |
