Excellent stay. Great old world atmosphere. For those wanting to have a different stay, with a taste of chinese culture, Double Happiness would be the go. Much nicer than a sterile, small hotel room on the 200th floor. |

I highly recommend this hotel to people who want to get away from big commercial hotels and who want to see life in a typical hutong. The staff was very friendly and the rooms nicely furnished. I would gladly go back! |

I had a very pleasant stay at the Double Happiness Hotel. It's in a historic hutong, and only a five minute walk from the subway, which provides access to all major tourist attractions. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby as well. My room was small, but clean and comfortable, and decorated traditionally. Free internet on four computers was provided, and the staff was truly helpful and knowledgeable, speaking great English. I would encourage others to stay here, and would choose to stay again. |
