The staff were attentive, pushing buttons and opening doors. They were patient and helpful in answering questions.
The restaurants are a little pricey. The revolving restaurant on the top floor is not worth the money as the food is not kept warm and does not taste very good. Considering that a cup of coffee is Y20, the Y30 morning breakfast buffet isn't a bad deal if you don't mind Asian breakfast foods like stirfried and pickled veggies, tofu, and gruel.
The location near the Songhua River in western Harbin isn't bad, but next time I would stay at the Gloria Inn or some other hotel right on Zhongang Dajie, the cultural heart of Harbin, with plenty of restaurants, shops, a good coffee shop, and interesting architecture. |
